THIS week I dated another older man. Well, it wasn't a date as such, it was more of a drunken night out with a fortysomething friend that turned into a date. The night started out with a drop of pinot grigio - well, a goldfish bowlsized glass to be precise - and the same for him. Big mistake actually, because there is only so much white wine I can take before I am no longer responsible for my actions (at least, that is generally my excuse the next day).

We started kissing and very quickly became the kind of couple I usually advise to get a room rather than groping in the middle of a pub at closing time. Then it was back to his for more wine - and more groping.
