CHARLES Moore writes in today's Spectator that what really annoys critics of Ryanair, Primark, JD Wetherspoon's, Tesco and other popular companies is that they sell products that are cheap.

The former Daily Telegraph editor blames his old friend the Prince of Wales. "Prince Charles even speaks disparagingly of 'our obsession with cheap food', as if the common lot of man would be improved if only food were expensive," writes Moore.
