The general manager has written to his loyal legion of Tramps explaining that the club has decided against a big bling bling birthday party.
"Due to the present global financial climate, rather than holding a lavish party to celebrate our 40th anniversary, you can have a party...We supply the food and drinks with 40 per cent of the total bill in appreciation of your loyalty to Tramp over the years."
