IT WAS all so extraordinary that even the garrulous Thierry Henry was left speechless. He trudged back to the dressing room, looked around at his dumbfounded teammates and felt that probably the only thing to do was laugh about the night when Arsenal played with supreme vision yet sadly still couldn't help finishing like Mr Magoo in a coalmine.

Of course it's no laughing matter now for Henry and Co that, after ruining their wondrous build-up work by missing sitter upon sitter and allowing CSKA Moscow to somehow halfinch a draw at Emirates Stadium, they now find themselves facing what he concedes is a real "dogfight" to make it to the Champions League knockout stages.
