A CITY trader who lost a discrimination case in which she claimed she was forced out of her job after returning from maternity leave is to appeal with the backing of the equality watchdog.

Katharina Tofeji, 38, a former sales dealer, failed in the 1.3 million sexism tribunal against former employer BNP Paribas after alleging she was made to leave her 70,000-a-year job following the birth of her daughter.
