WHEN Theo Walcott scored a hat-trick against Croatia last September, his longterm future in the England first team seem to be secured. Nine months of inconsistency have gone by since then and the 20-year-old needs a big performance against the minnows of Andorra tonight to prove himself all over again.

Walcott is already in the spotlight for his decision to play for the Under-21s in the European Championships this month, which means he could get little rest ahead of next season.
