NOTABLY absent from the Olympic boxing ring next week will be Kenya's flyweight champion Suleiman Bilali, who was forced to withdraw after being injured in a mugging.

The All Africa Games gold medallist is reported to have been set upon by six men, some armed with machetes, while he was training near his home in a crime-ridden district of Nairobi.
