YOU MIGHT have wondered how Gordon Brown found the time to write his book, Courage: Eight Portraits, which is published by Bloomsbury in June. Now it seems perhaps he didn't. Derek Tonkin CMG, fomer ambassador to Vietnam and Thailand, has written to the Chancellor pointing out a catalogue of errors that appeared in an extract from the book in last week's Guardian.
The Londoner has seen the letter, which lists nine mistakes in the extract alone, which was taken from the chapter about Burmese Nobel Peace Prize winner, Aung San Suu Kyi.See the full content of this document
