MARTIN JOL has been avoiding listening to football phone-ins on the radio for the past five weeks due to Tottenham's struggle for form, but his players appear to have found the right frequency again after booking their place in the FA Cup quarterfinals in emphatic fashion.

Such was the level of concern in the build-up to the game at Craven Cottage that there was talk of Jol's job being under threat if Spurs lost, even though he has been the club's most successful manager in nearly a decade.
