TO COMMEMORATE its 20th anniversary, Office Angels last week reconstructed an office as it would have looked in 1986. Today's office workers were invited to test out their keyboard-trained typing skills on an oldfashioned typewriter, produce a hand-written memo rather than a group email, and figure out how urgent information could best be sent to 10 other branches across town.

Office Angels managing director Paul Jacobs said: "The largest difference between the office of 1986 and the office of today is technological invention. These tasks are simple for us today thanks to email, but 20 years ago we could never imagine the instant communication we have the luxury of now.
