TOWER Bridge jammed in the "up" position today, throwing traffic into chaos, writes David Williams.
The bridge was raised to let a ship pass at 10.45am but when the 1,200- tonne bascules were lowered again they jammed. Within minutes long traffic tailbacks built up on both sides of the bridge which forms a vital section of the "free" ring road around the congestion charge zone.See the full content of this document
