ROBERT Seigler, pictured, has owned Le Cafe du Jardin on Wellington Street since 1993. In the 1980s, he worked as a waiter at the restaurant just after it opened.
Seigler, 47, says: "Business is challenging, but remains fairly brisk. People were so frightened last year about how things were going, but the scare stories have not come true: it's not the end of civilisation.
