THE CONSERVATIVE leadership was unrepentant about the grammar school row today despite a new poll showing the party's popularity had suffered over the issue.
The survey found that the Tories' ratings had slipped one point to 35 per cent as voters viewed the party as deeply split on education. Meanwhile Labour had surged by four points to 31 per cent over the past month.See the full content of this document
