TOPSHOP has admitted inflating its dress sizes to cater for women's "blossoming" figures.
The chain's best-selling fashions are wider around the waist, hips and bust than three years ago. The changes mean customers who struggle to squeeze into a size 10 or 12 in other stores could find themselves pleasantly surprised in Topshop's fitting rooms. Brand director Jane Shepherdson said it had been forced to change its sizing to reflect the fact that women have grown taller, wider and more busty.
