BRITAIN'S wealthiest cat has been forced into hiding following a series of death threats.

Tinker, a black stray, hit the headlines last year after he inherited Pounds 450,000 from a north London widow. Margaret Layne, 89, from Harrow, left the cat the run of her Pounds 350,000 threebedroom-house and Pounds 100,000 in cash.
