THEO WALCOTT has revealed his left shoulder injury dates back to his time at Southampton, and has got worse in the last two months.

The 17-year-old requires an operation on the problem but it has been postponed because of Arsenal's injury crisis, though Arsene Wenger is hopeful it can take place before the end of the season so the teenager does not miss the start of the 2007/08 campaign.
