I HAVE refrained from writing regarding The Square redevelopment because frankly I quite like the changes so far though I do have some reservations about Stage 3.

However this morning (December 29) when I walked around The Square during my morning constitutional I was appalled to see that some mindless bureaucrat has allowed the organisers of the city council-funded New Year Party to defile the area by slapping posters over every tree surround and concrete wall in the parking area.
