Summary
IT'S good news that both the main candidates for London mayor support no-smoking in public places. In the arguments about the rights of smokers and non-smokers one category is always left out - people who are struggling to stop smoking but have their habit continually reinforced by having other people's smoke in their faces.
In 25 years of helping people who want to stop smoking, I have come to believe that environmental factors are as powerful an addictive force as any substance. If this is a nanny state policy, I must say I prefer it to one of "depraved indifference".See the full content of this document
