However, he is older than Kennedy, who was 43 when elected to the White House, and Clinton, who was 46. Among Democrat presidents in the past 100 years, only Carter, 52, Franklin Roosevelt, 51, and Woodrow Wilson, 57, were older when elected excluding Truman and Johnson who both succeeded as vice-presidents.See the full content of this document
