Summary
SIMON Davis's revelation of the secrets of the "Ledbury set" (17 September) made entertaining reading, but would not have surprised anyone who has ever hunted. While the chase is the sport's raison d'etre, it is the boozing and bed-hopping that keep many coming back, and - New Labour take note - there is no need to be as well- connected as the Ledbury set to enjoy these activities.
