Summary
EARLY this year I praised the 2007 southern Rhone reds, then being offered en primeur. Now on the shelves, they just look better and better -- not least compared to the dreadful '07 red burgundies and patchy '07 clarets. Generous and powerful yet harmonious, these are great reds for the onset of winter.
