TEACHING groups hit out at plans to expand grammar schools in Kent, claiming they create a "system which labels most 10-year-olds failures".
Paul Carter, leader of Kent county council, is making plans to increase grammar school places in the west of the county because schools are oversubscribed. The county had 5,113 pupils pass the 11- plus this month, but it has only 4,458 grammar places.See the full content of this document
