Summary
SO Toby from Hammersmith thinks the audience was on the side of the misbehaving kids Ken Stott ordered out of A View from the Bridge (Diary, 30 March). A few people rallied to their defence but most wanted them out, and quite right too. Theatre is a live art form but some audience members, young and old, behave as if they are watching TV or a movie. If anyone is not prepared to honour their part of the actor-audience contract they should leave or be thrown out.
