Students 'Must Pay More'

Summary


LEADING universities will only take more students from state schools if they can charge higher tuition fees, it emerged today.

Universities including Cambridge and King's College London have pledged to change their student intake in return for being able to set maximum annual fees of Pounds 3,000. The Office for Fair Access (Offa) has also received similar plans from Exeter, Leeds and York universities.
