ONE of London's top schools is threatening to withdraw from exam league tables because it believes the focus on raw results is damaging education.

Martin Stephen, high master of Pounds 22,872-a-year St Paul's in Barnes, said today he is consulting parents and teachers about whether to refuse to supply A-level and GCSE results for publication in August.
