NO sOOner does Kraft say it wants to take over Cadbury than the Union Jack starts to be waved. While the protests in Birmingham, Cadbury's traditional home city, are predictable and understandable, the intervention of the Government in the form of the City minister, Lord Myners, is laughable.
Cadbury, of course, is clambering aboard the patriotic bandwagon for all its worth, reminding anyone who will listen that Dairy Milk is "Britain's Favourite Brand". nowhere in the Cadbury campaign is there mention that the company's chief executive, Todd stitzer, is American or that the majority of the company's shareholders are not located in the UK.See the full content of this document
