ALAIN BAXTER retired today after injury ended his bid to ski at next year's Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Baxter claimed Britain's first ever alpine Olympic medal in 2002, only to be stripped of the slalom bronze when he failed a drugs test. The 35-year-old Scot was later cleared of wrong-doing when the failure was blamed on an inhaler he had used.See the full content of this document
