I am addicted to hookahs. I became obsessed with the long, slim water pipes that Arabs use to give themselves cancer when I was travelling through Syria and Iraq a few years ago.

(Believe me you need to find some way to ingest tobacco when you are stuck in Iraq). As soon as I returned, I began to haunt Edgware Road's hookah cafes.
