THE clocks have gone forward and London can relish the longer days of spring. The Olympic torch arrives on Sunday, with celebrations all over the capital. Antiques and collectors' fairs abound, and you can hear about Beijing airport and the new St Pancras station straight from the architects who built them.

Fairs The Esher Hall Antiques and Fine Art Fair is new at Sandown Park racecourse from 18 to 20 April. There will be furniture, clocks, jewellery, barometers, glass, ceramics, oriental carpets, paintings, maps and more assembled by 45 dealers. There is free parking and a creche on Saturday and Sunday.
