NICK Cohen's suggestion that faith schools can lead to a Northern Ireland-type situation is a backwards reading of history (15 March).
He wrongly assumes faith schools in London tend to be selective - my sister and I attended one of many Catholic comprehensive, formerly secondary modern schools. It's wrong to suggest new faith schools will be racially exclusive when Muslim schools are likely to contain Muslims of Arab, African and European backgrounds.See the full content of this document
