LAST month Sebastien Sainsbury, great grandson of the supermarket founder John James, resigned as chairman of nightclub M1NT - beneath Gordon Ramsay's restaurant Pengelley's in Sloane Street - following a dispute about the club's direction.

Now I hear he's involved in a bitter dispute with the club's two directors, Alistair Paton and Johnathon Anderson, after they insisted he will be given his shares in the club, which run to five figures, only when he signs a confidentiality agreement and agrees not to work in a related area of business within the next 18 months.
