TWENTY-FIVE years ago Michael Morris sold his sailing school in Fowey, Cornwall and set sail for the Mediterranean in search of a new life. When he reached Mahon, capital of the Balearic island of Menorca with the second largest natural harbour in the world, he was so impressed that he stayed and has lived there ever since.
"I couldn't believe there was somewhere in the Med that was so unspoilt," says Morris, a youthful 62. "More surprisingly, so little has changed today. The port is bigger and there is more urbanisation but not much, it's still the same island I came to all those years ago.
