THE PARENTS of heroin addict Rachel Whitear today described a controversial portrait of their daughter as abhorrent and called upon the Saatchi Gallery not to display it.
The painting, created by stripper turned artist Stella Vine, shows the 21-year-old in her school uniform with blood pouring from her mouth. It was bought by Charles Saatchi for his Bankside gallery for an exhibition entitled New Blood.See the full content of this document
