THE Barbican has been forced to cancel a concert by a Russian pianist after he refused to provide fingerprints now required for non-EU citizens' visas.

Grigory Sokolov, 57, who has worked in Britain regularly over the past two decades, was scheduled to perform a programme of Mozart sonatas and Chopin on 10 May.
