MY FIRST close look into the River Thames was when a friend moved onto a houseboat. We sat on the deck as she cheefully pointed out where a corpse had recently washed up.
Whenever I look at the Thames now, I picture either a body floating by or a James Bond boat-chase. The one thing I can't imagine seeing on the Thames is a proper boat service for Londoners.See the full content of this document
