BERNIE ECCLESTONE said today he fears Renault could leave Formula One over allegations that they told Nelson Piquet to crash his car to help Fernando Alonso win last year's Singapore Grand Prix.

The Formula One chief said: "Renault leaving the sport is a real danger. I hope that it isn't like that but it's the sort of thing that might happen."
