AS A bridesmaid, Clementine Hambro was the child star of Charles and Diana's wedding in 1981. Yesterday, she played a key role in a sadder occasion, the memorial service of her father Richard Hambro at St Luke's Church in Chelsea. Now married to Orlando Fraser, Clementine gave the first reading, Remember me when I am gone away, by Christina Rosetti.
Clementine's uncle Nicholas Soames and aunt Emma Soames were there, and Orlando's mother Lady Antonia and brother Benjie Fraser. Richard's brother banker Rupert Hambro read one of his own poems, the Hoofs of the Horses, in memory of his love of racing. Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles was one of the ushers.See the full content of this document
