RADIO veteran Alistair Cooke told today how he is physically too weak to continue his Letter From America.
Cooke, 95, has had to stop his broadcasts after 58 years. He has arthritis and heart disease and is now unable to leave his 15th- floor New York apartment. A 1,700 word Letter, which he used to write in two hours, now takes him three days.See the full content of this document
