A MURDER investigation is continuing today after the discovery of a man who had been stabbed before his body was tied up and thrown off the cliffs at Beachy Head.

The inquiry began after one of three corpses recovered at the suicide spot near Eastbourne on Friday was found to have multiple stab wounds. Tape had been used to bind his hands and feet and to fasten a plastic bag over his head. The victim is black, in his early thirties, and about 5ft 8in, with a full Afro hairstyle and beard. He is thought to have been killed elsewhere and may have been put in a barrel found nearby.
