YESTERDAY I reported on Labour MP Ian Gibson, a scientist, who claimed to have obtained the DNA of a Cabinet Minister "surreptitiously" by taking a glass from which he had been drinking orange juice. However, it seems Dr Gibson may have inadvertently revealed the identity of the minister.
"I did not abuse the person, and I have not revealed who he is - as I said, Mr Deputy Prime Minister," said Gibson in the Commons, looking increasingly embarrassed. "No, I mean Mr Deputy Speaker, I would never do that. However, one can see how many people could commit abuse by being much more subtle about getting the DNA sample."See the full content of this document
