AN Pounds 11million funding package to boost the training and jobs market in London ahead of the 2012 Olympics was announced today. More than 14,000 Londoners and 1,500 businesses could be helped by money from the Opportunities Fund, according to London Mayor Ken Livingstone.
The three-year grants, being rolled out until 2010, are going into skills training, work placements and employment advice with the involvement of organisations such as the Princes Trust, Centrepoint and Sports Coaches UK.See the full content of this document
