FORMER shadow home secretary David Davis is repaying more than Pounds 3,000 claimed for a home-office phone gadget and a ride-on mower.

Mr Davis has agreed to pay back Pounds 2,300 in Additional Costs Allowance for the "business telephone exchange" system that redirects calls from his constituency office to his house in Yorkshire at weekends.
