POPPY Day in Feilding was well supported by the Air Force and local RSA personnel. Where was the Army?
Does the Linton Army Camp deem Feilding to be of little importance? On speaking to the local RSA, it were of the understanding that the Army was to attend Poppy Day collection. This is the second year in a row that the Army has been conspicuous by its absence. I am sure it is aware from year to year that Poppy Day falls the Friday before Anzac Day, so no excuse!
