Summary
LIKE thousands of other New Zealanders I enjoy watching a good game of rugby. My circumstances dictate that I watch this sport through the TV coverage. I am, however, distressed to see the sport descend to a blatantly unhealthy practice of using the playing field as a handkerchief. With the huge amount of sponsorship squandered in promoting the sport as a healthy, entertaining, rugged contact sport I am at a loss to understand this unsavoury development.
The TV cameramen delight in catching this action with such "zoom lens" efficiency that viewers can't help being subjected to the disgusting habit.See the full content of this document
