FROM ST PETER'S TO ST PAUL'S 9pm, BBC4 I'm no great fan of his terrifically ugly sandals, but it must be admitted that Waldemar Januszczak is a lively guide to the great art movement that sprawled across the 17th century and beyond. As the commentator notes, baroque art "goes after you and ingratiates itself". BUILDING THE OLYMPIC DREAM 9pm, BBC2 Far from being a sloganeering advertisement for the undoubted benefits that will accrue to London by hosting the 2012 Olympic Games, this series of documentaries is actually far more even-handed than that and therefore more watchable. When Stratford was chosen as the main centre of the games, it was widely assumed that the site was an urban wasteland badly in need of development. This has turned out not to be the case, for the area houses a magnificent collection of lovingly tended allotments and, furthermore, people live there.
