THREE detectives reacted with fury today after winning a Pounds 90,000 compensation package following claims they had been "hung out to dry" over race allegations.

Detective Constable Tom Hassell, 60, acting Detective Chief Inspector Paul Whatmore, 39, and Detective Sergeant Colin Lockwood, 55, were awarded the money after an employment tribunal found Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair had treated them so badly it amounted to racial discrimination.
