YET more woman trouble for Jeremy Paxman. Yesterday I suggested that the Newsnight presenter's outburst that middle-class white men are discriminated against at the Beeb was probably inspired by the fact that the acting editor of Newsnight, Jasmin Buttar, and the prospective new controller of BBC 2, Janice Hadlow, are both female. Now it emerges that his bosses at University Challenge are also missing a Y-chromosome.

The "key talent" on the programme, as listed by Auntie, includes Jeremy Paxman (presenter), Tracey Rooney (director), Irene Daniels (producer).
