CONTROVERSIAL police chief Brian Paddick has threatened to sue Scotland Yard after he was accused of lying when he raised doubts about Sir Ian Blair's account of the Stockwell shooting on 22 July last year.

However, he is also very angry about another episode earlier that month. He is complaining that serious remarks he made at the QE2 Conference Centre to reassure the public following the 7 July London bombings were drowned by sneering press comments about his homosexuality.
