Having been priced out of the capital to live in Sussex, I'd warn Londoners off his suggestion of getting a home outside the city. It's not so much the sheer monotony of commuting, but the "fade factor". You tend to duck any after-work event in London because you are expected back home, and you don't bother to go back up at weekends for potentially useful meetings.See the full content of this document
