OFFICIALS at Ascot will be anxiously checking the weather overnight ahead of tomorrow's valuable meeting and look set to omit the final two fences should racing take place, writes Paul Fielder.
Frost covers have been laid at the Berkshire track and clerk of the course Chris Stickels said: "There's talk of minus two on Saturday but we should be able to cope with that."
